I am an entrepreneur, athlete, and author.

La’Keisha Sutton known as “Fan Favorite” was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and is a true example of a scholar-athlete. She is an Entrepreneur, Professional Basketball Player, Motivational Speaker and Brand Strategist who has dedicated her time and energy to empowering young people all across the world by teaching them the importance of leadership and goal-setting. La’Keisha is the Founder and CEO of the Fan Favorite Club, a vibrant, multi-use safe place for youth to develop confidence, express their creativity and learn how to be self-sufficient.

Before joining The World Famous Globetrotters in 2018, Sutton played professionally in Taiwan, Finland, Ecuador, Germany, and Bulgaria. La’Keisha was a 4 year starter at the University of South Carolina for Hall of Fame Coach and Olympic Gold Medalist, Dawn Staley. During her tenure at USC, La’Keisha became known as “FAN FAVORITE” because of how liberal she was with her time before and after games. She was also named a WNBA Prospect during her time at USC finishing as a top guard in the SEC in defense, scoring and assists.

At USC, she helped lead the Gamecocks to their first ever Sweet 16 appearance in 2012 and finished as a 1,000 point scorer. She was a unanimous selection for the All SEC freshman team in 2008-2009, after leading the Gamecocks in scoring in conference play. She also earned a spot on the ALL SEC defensive team as well.
While in high school, La’Keisha was recruited by several Ivy League Schools, and Division I Universities to continue her basketball career. She received a full athletic scholarship to play for Dawn Staley, Hall of Famer and a three-time Olympic gold medalist, at the University of South Carolina. At Trenton Catholic Academy, La’Keisha became the first athlete in school history male or female to win NJ Gatorade Player of The Year Award in 2008. A McDonald’s All American nominee, La’Keisha was just 10 points shy of 2,000 points.

In addition to being a professional basketball player, La’Keisha added author to her resume with the release of her book “From The Projects To Fan Favorite”. Her most proud accomplishment is her Scholarship Fund assisting youth who participate in her Internship Program at the Fan Favorite Club. She enjoys listening to music, volunteering at community events, and reading. La’Keisha has a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Communication.
